PostHeaderIcon Federal conference to be held on the 11th June 2011 in London

Dear Ugandans,

You are all invited to attend a special conference about federalism in Uganda on 11th/June 2011 at University of East London, Docklands Campus, University way, London E16 2RD

The Odoki Commission in 1993 reported that 65% of the people of Uganda wanted federalism, while 10 years later, the Ssempebwa commission that reviewed the constitution, reported 68%. Given this background, it is quite clear that the majority of Ugandans believe that a federal political system of governance will be fairer for all kingdoms and peoples of Uganda.

Therefore, we intend to use this event as a trampoline to establish a network among professionals, politicians, civil society and activists in a quest to achieve our aims and objectives to develop our motherland.

Remember to embrace federalism is to embrace diversity!

Entertainment will include prominent musicians from Uganda.

This event is organised by the Uganda Federal Confederates, a pressure group that campaigns for a federal political system of governance for all kingdoms in Uganda.

Entrance is £30 per head from 1200 to 0300. This includes food, drinks and entertainment. To book acccomodation follow the link below:
